Graafinen Teknologia 2015

During 2015 I took a course in Graphic Technology at the Turku University of Applied Science, equivalent to 135 studying hours. It included media technology, production AD’s job description, image processing, vector graphics and publishing programs.
It had been almost a decade since I had a chance to use such programs. I wanted to see how much I remembered and learn more. It was an extreamly rewarding and refreshing experience. Forever thankful to Erkki Mikkola who allowed me to present my tasks in English (yes, the course was in Finnish), enriched the course with a lot of graphic design experiences and pointed me to the existence of the conferences “Tieto näkyväaksi” (Visualizing Knowledge).
What might be modest to one can be a treasure trove to another one.
Here some of the exercises done during the course:
A logo with your surname for different business

Posters using only typography

Logos for a chamber music, jazz, and heavy groups.
