University of Helsinki runs a set of stations called SMEAR: Stations for Measuring Ecosystem-Atmosphere Relationships. Back in 1996, while the second station in Finland was recording the first summer of data, Jyrky Haataja designed a logo and slide portraying the parts of the site an its measurements:

More than 20 years later, the station had grown and multiplied. I was asked to update the old designed for the old and new stations.
